I am a fish

I was swimming lazily in the big blue ocean, when I heard a strange sound and a big net coming towards me. Scared, I tried to run away but the net was faster and in a sudden I found myself captured and swimming in a dark and small space. After a lot of shaking and wiggling, I was placed in a small glass container with other fish.

The other fish told me we were in Tom's aquarium. It took

me some time to adjust. I am a puffer fish and some of

my friends are goldfish, angel fish, coy fish, cat fish and

star fish. We get along very well. I am yellow with black

spikes. I am a friendly fish, however whenever I feel

threatened and scared I inflate like a big balloon.

Tom is a very kind boy. He feeds us everyday and cleans the aquarium every week. Sometimes he drops a strange thing where we can hide in it or play around. In the aquarium there is a thermometer and a heater which Tom adjust according to the seasons.

I like my life now however I miss the ocean. Now the water is always spick and span. I miss the ocean because I could swim long distances for hours and hours. Then I would find something to eat and return home. Sometimes I feel lonely as I miss my parents and siblings! The only problem we had was the trash humans throw in the sea. Humans throw all kind of stuff and unfortunately pollution killed some of my friends.

Although I live happy now I still wish I was in the ocean!
