Princess in peril

"She'll never escape." chuckles the king. In the middle of the forest there was a medieval castle surrounded by huge trees. There was a village not so far from the castle.

Every night you could hear wailing coming from the castle.

One of the villagers goes hunting every evening in the forest

near the castle so that he will have food to feed his family, let's call him "the clever villager." The clever villager heard one of the guards talking to the king "why are you keeping the princess locked in the castle?" asked the guard. The king replied " I can't stand her! She is so spoiled and annoying, she must be punished!" The clever villager couldn't believe what he heard. The clever villager had a brilliant idea how to rescue the princess from the king. The plan was to dig from under the castle to the village to rescue the princess, so he asked his friends from the village to help him dig. The castle was surrounded by guards and they all had armour, swords and horses. The villagers had to be really careful not to get caught. After a lot of digging they finally made it into a room which they had to go all the way up to where the princess was kept. But it wouldn't be easy there were guards on each floor. The villagers had to fight the guards to get through. Finally, they made it to the princess room where the king was keeping her. "My friends and I came to rescue you from the evil king!" said the clever villager. The spoiled princess started to laugh at the villagers and told him that she doesn't want to be rescued!

It seems like the princess got used to the place, and she was starting to enjoy herself there. The king was right after all. The princess is spoiled and she must stay in the castle.
