What happens to a dream deferred

Does it dry up like dates sealed in a box

Or does it melt like ice abandoned in the sun

Does its mell like decayed fish

Or does it fall into a hole and fall down and down

Maybe it droops on the floor

Like pouring slime

Or does it explode
