Words were deafening, voices were screeching, doors were closing slowly like a slimy slug. The shadowy figure was closing into the creepy basement. The view was pitch-black darkness and it covered Lazlo. He took As rusty as a spider web, his dinosaur pyjamas were full of dust. Shadows were materializing into the rusty windows which was filled with wasps and flies. Lazlo was alone; he didn't know what was happening. The Dark- who had a cackling voice- was like monster. The little voice was crawling through the walls.

"Come here..." He couldn't understand this. What was he supposed to do? Was he going to be killed?...

Quietly, Lazlo stepped down the stairs, it was like the stairs were crawling to Lazlo. Suddenly, something was shining into the distance. It was glimmering like the burning sun. The boy gazed at the antique object. It had shiny jewels covering it. Could it be treasure? Could it be a portal to a new world? It was a treasure, what was it doing here? The Dark was coming as fast as a spotty cheetah. Lazlo had beady eyes peeking onto the treasure. As fast as the Flash, something dashed in front of him. A dull, smelly gas smacked his invisible, pale face.

Something was going on, someone was breathing...

Quickly, he approached to the precious chest, the light was shining in his tearful eyes. The shadowy figure was covering the chest. He couldn't see it. He could smell the breeze from the chest, it was horrifying.

"Open it!" he yelled.

There were two ways to do this: escape or open it. There was a filthy, dusty key standing on the creaky, dull table(it was from the ancient years) What could possibly go wrong? He sliced the key in the key lock, he lifted up the lid and it was a portal. Terrifying Lazlo was shocked.

"You must go to the portal and save the supernatural from ghouls and monsters.

"NO!" Lazlo refused, he was scared of freaky vampires and aggressive monsters.

As scary as a ferocious Lion, The Dark pushed him in the portal.

"How could this happen to me?" he thought. As he approached the end for a new dimension, the view was full of eternal darkness...
