Would you like to cover your child up from the real world just so they can learn a couple of equations?
I am Mae and I am arguing against August being home schooled and him going to beecher prep middle school. Obviously, his parents have done a reasonably good job at educating August so far. Unfortunately, them being unqualified teachers they do not have the right tools to teach him so can only teach him so much. His mother even admits that she struggles with fractions and that is something that he would be handling with ease at school. On the other hand his parents could always hire a tutor to come in and teach August that way he would be being taught by a proper teacher. Though he will not be able to access the full curriculum e.g P.E. Also, he will not be able to as many school trip or investigations. Going to school will give him much more great opportunity's. Yes, he can go to sport clubs and go on trips with his parents although it will not be the same as being taught P.E or going on educational trips. By limiting his education you are limiting his future.
