WALT to use the past tense in a recount.

Dear Diary

Yesterday I woke up I was very tired, first I had to gather

food for the animals the food was heavy. Next I fed the

sheep and milked the cows. After that I had breakfast I had

bread and veg it was quite nice. later that day I needed to

separate the wheat from grain it was not easy though I wish

it was. After separating the wheat from the grain I had to

take it back it almost spilled every were. I helped to make

food I also helped to make the cheese and butter. later in

the evening we served food. Soon after that we got to eat

it we had hard bread and pottage and it was made of veg.

Finally it was time for bed I made my mattress from straw

like always and went to sleep.
