One day Katie's dad and mum were in the garden and mum was calling Katie to see what was on the table. "Come here, Katie. We have something for you."

On the table there was a box but when Katie looked inside there was nothing inside. Katie was confused. "There's nothing here," she said. She didn't know why there was nothing in the box.

There was something suspicious about it, but then her dad pointed at a tree. "Look! There something in the tree," he said. There was a cat! That was the surprise that her mum and dad gave her!
