Day 2 School Journey

After a reasonably early night the children were ready (by 6:30am) for the next exciting day of activities. Even the gloomy weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of Year 6. The first stop was the idyllic village of Wrotham, where we took in the sights of St George’s Church, the old schoolhouse and an Oast house. After a delicious lunch it was time to go on a hunt for mini-beasts. We found a range of wildlife such as slugs, snails and beetles.We also went pond dipping and found newts, water boatman and lots of pond weed!

Tonight we are heading to the barn for table tennis, music and games. Thanks for all your comments, the children have really enjoyed hearing from you, we will update again tomorrow.
