QUESTION TIME - ON THE PROWL


1) What time of day is it in the picture?

I think it's the morning because everything looks very asleep in the picture.


2) Why is only one tiger drinking from the pool?

I think one tiger is drinking because one is looking for any dangerous creatures coming their way.


3) Do the tigers know each other?

I think the tiger do know each other because they aren't far apart and neither of them look frightened,


4) Why are they 'on the prowl' together?

I think thy're 'on the prowl' together because they are looking for food.


5) What doe the word prowl mean? What does it suggest the tigers are doing?

Prowl means to move stealthily and probably means your looking for pray. This suggests they are looking for food.


6) Where will they go once they have finished drinking?

I think they will go hunt for their pray after they finish drinking.


7) Where in the world would you find tigers? What is their natural habitat?

Tigers live in habitats such as tropical rainforests, mangrove swamps and evergreen forests. Most wild tigers live in Asia.


8) How do you feel about the fact that some tigers live in captivity?

I think it's unfair for tigers as the are meant to prowl over the world with freedom.
