Different types of lions

Lions can sometimes be different. Sometimes it relates to the scale, the width or others. For example, the biggest Lion ever recorded weighs around 375 Kg ( 827 pounds). The Lion was witnessed in captivity at Ireland's Dublin Zoo in 1959. This Lion was appeared to be longer than 10 feet and looked very huge! Even though a Lion can get as big as 190 Kg for a male and 130 Kg for a female.

Caring for lions

Lions are not really cared for because people think they harm people so they are killed. But if you think on the opposite side, you will see that Lions are kind when it comes to being cared for and they are bad when it comes to people killing them. You suddenly notice you are decreasing the population of Lions.

. Lions are the only cats that live in groups.

. A group or a pride of Lions can be up to 30, depending on how much food and water is available.

. Female Lions are the main hunters.

. A Lions roar can be heard from up to 8 kilometres away.

. Lions scent mark their territory, using their urine, to create a border.
