My Budgie

My budgie is so colourful and bright,

She is soft like a blanket,

and has the funniest personality you could ever think of.

When I'm down, she always makes me laugh,

and even though she bites,

I love her to bits.

She can be as loud a lion,

but also as quiet as a mouse.

She is my best friend,

and always will be.
