Snakes: Friend or Foe?

Snakes are meat eaters. They don't have any teeth and eat their prey by swallowing them in one gulp. Snakes don't fear anything except for animals that can resist their venom. Doesn't this sound terrible?

WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP SNAKES AS PETS?

People keep snakes as pets because some snakes are not venomous and are friendly and gentle. Others may want to keep snakes as pets because they think they are cute and so do I.

WHY DO PEOPLE DISLIKE SNAKES?

Not many people like snakes. Some people kill snakes because they are scared they might be poisonous . Snakes can kill humans if they want to so some people may not want to take that risk.
