Suddenly,I realized I was alone in the gloomy church. My teeth were shattering as the icy wind blew through the old oak door.A slam louder than a lions roar trapped me in the freezing church.Swiftly, I ran up

the lonely aisle scouring for a place to hide.Behind me was the clattering sound of the door handle turning, squealing every turn .Slowly, the door heaved open my heart sank , I dived between the crumbling benches and rolled my nervous body under one.My eyes were clamped oysters while I threw my heaving chest to the floor, curling up into a tight ball. All of sudden the swung open. A loud thump hit the smooth wooden floor.

Footsteps.

Getting closer.
