1) Where do you think Zaya got the dragon egg?

I think Zaya got the dragon egg from somewhere deep in a forest. I think this because they are sitting in a clearing of a forest.

2) How did she get it to hatch?

i think Zaya didn't get it to hatch but left it to hatch be itself.

3) Why has Zaya left home?

Zaya left home because she thought if she stayed home people would hurt the dragon and take it away from her and the village.

4) Did she tell anyone about the dragon?

I don't think she told anyone about the dragon because if she did she might as well of stayed in her village.

5) What do you think she is planning to do with the dragon?

I think she will look after the dragon and make it her own.

6) Where is she taking it?

I think she's not planning to take her to one place but all around the world.

7) Are there any other dragons like it?

I don't think there are any dragons like it because of the way it's described that sounds very original.

8) How will she feed it?

She might have to steal to feed it or she might have food in her back pack from her village.

9) What is causing the shadow in the snow behind her?

I think it's the dragon who is causing the shadow because it's the same shape except larger.
