Homework 19th September
This week in class we have been learning about how to use
punctuation correctly.
In this text you will have to think carefully about where you add
commas and where you put question marks. There may also be
some mistakes that you need to correct!
What a lovely day. Do you like sunny days. I just love the sun.
You can go swimming and paddling and sun bathing and surfing.
What do you like most about the beach. Is it the sand. Why is the
sound of waves crashing so fantastic. It is sad that the Summer
is nearly over. The weather is going to get colder, wetter, darker.
At least we'll be back in school and we can see all our friends again.
Also Christmas is in the Winter. Just think about all those mince
pies and Christmas puddings and singing Christmas carols. When
is the school concert this year. I'm very excited!
Are you punctuation perfect? For an extra challenge,
write a catchy slogan or rap about commas or question marks.
