Facts About WWI
On the 25th of December the German and the English troops called a truce and started to celebrate Christmas together. They even had a football match.
WWI began on 1914. It was a very horrible time. Many died and not many survived. Lots of memorials where made to remember the brave soldiers who did not make it home.
Stew was a very good food in the trenches as it tasted very good and all troops enjoyed it. Annoyingly it was cold most of the time and it sometimes had mud in it.

The war started when Austrian heir to the throne got assassinated by a Serbian terrorist. After Austria declared war with Serbia. then Germany allied with Austria and Russia allied with Serbia. Germany went mental and declared war on many other countries. Eventually Germany attacked Belgium and We joined in
