In year 5 we have been learning about World War One.

Here are some facts that I have found out

The American soldiers had a dog called Sergeant Stubby.

When the soldiers stood hours in freezing cold muddy trench they would get trench foot.

World War One started in 1814 and ended in 1818

When soldiers where digging they found body's that the french have burried in the sides and bottom.

There was no shaving or washing there.
