Hello 5S, how are you all?

I've seen some amazing non fiction writing coming in so well done if you have uploaded your

project. Remember to do all your work on j2e5 so that you can publish your work and I can see it or you can use the upload function to click and drag a document that you have created.

I would love to see your written answers for Destination Reader that I have set this week on Journey to the River Sea, well done to Aliah for a great summary that was published.

I have also read a few recounts which are great. Remember to try and do your recount as a flashback if you have not finished this please aim to publish it to me as soon as possible. For English today and tomorrow please try one Literacy Shed story starter and choose one of the 3 activities set around Journey to the River Sea in the Week 1 Instructions.

Please remember to check your work for spelling, punctuation and grammar before submitting. Also for Maths you do not have to print the sheets, you can just write the answers into your purple homework books but lay out the answers so they make sense e.g. numbered and with a heading.

I'm looking forward to Times Table Rock Stars tomorrow when 5S gets to take part, I hope you've all been practising!!

Some lovely Learning diaries have been coming in too in the form of photos and word work so keep it up, you and your families are doing a grand job.

Thursdays are one of our favourite days as we have chess in the afternoon. Check the week one instructions for what I would like you to do. If you do not have chess at home try another board game or ask a family member to teach you a different game. Try backgammon, draughts, or another strategic game.

Take Care Everyone, Ms Smith
