On the prowl
It was early on morning. A strike of extraordinary tigers (which were brothers) were sneakily prowling across the Indian forest.
The tigers got a call in the form of roar from another tiger (India’s strongest
tiger) telling him about a puppy that was in danger of being eaten by a coldhearted leopard. So straight away the tigers set off to save the defenseless puppy. The puppy was about to be get eaten when the
tigers pounced at the leopard.
There was an aggressive fight with the leopard and the tigers. The tigers won almost losing an eye and the tigers knew the leopard would come for revenge……

What time of day is it in the picture? I think that the time is 6AM because I can
see the sun coming up from the left which is East. It looks Hazy too.
Why is only one tiger drinking from the pool? The other tiger is guarding the area.
Do the tigers know each other? I think the tigers know each other because if they didn’t know each other they wouldn’t be casual.
Why are they ‘on the prowl’ together? It could be a strike of tigers.
What does the word ‘prowl’ mean? What does it suggest the tigers are doing? The word prowl means they are waiting and lurking in the shadows. I
think the tigers are hunting
Where will they go once they have finished drinking? They will go on the prowl. They are looking for there rescue mission.
Where in the world would you find tigers? What is their natural habitat? Tigers live in India
How do you feel about the fact that some tigers live in captivity? I feel a bit sad. Sometimes its good to be in captivity to keep their number up,but really they should be in the wild.
