Year 3 visited The University of Leicester's Botanic Gardens. They are open everyday to the public and are really lovely. Today we did the habitats programme. We visited the desert, Mediterranean, tropical rainforest, woodland and went pond dipping. We compared the different types of plants that were growing. The pond dipping was amazing - we even found a newt! We als found and identified lots of minibeasts. Thanks to all the SCITT students who organised it for us.
