Yr 5 Brazil Class Swimming!💦

In year five we have been on lots of fun trips. One of those trips was swimming. Every day for a week we walked to cannons for swimming lessons. Some of us (like me) got to the big pool. To get to the big pool we had to demonstrate our skills and perform strokes like breast stroke, front crawl, back stroke and even the dolphin! Some of us learnt to do those strokes meanwhile, the people that already knew them did other activities.

I found the big pool very fun. I enjoyed demonstrating diving to some other people. When we were learning to dive, we had to go down all the way to the bottom and get a heavy brick.

I also remember doing a race where we were on mats and we all had to paddle to the end of the pool. We also did simple front crawl races and fun activities. I also enjoyed diving down and getting things like bricks, rings and mats at the end to help out.

Both year five and six did swimming and lots of us really enjoyed it. In my opinion, I would describe the lessons as social, active and super fun! 💦

The place that we learnt to swim was indoors, as you can see below. This is the little pool.
