My muscles ached like a poker burning in a scalding fire. I was in so much of a daze that I was hallucinating embers in front of my beady eyes. Sprinting was all I could think about as my chaser was in hot pursuit. I couldn’t care less about what passers by would think of me, but I assumed that it was probably something on the lines of “Who is that juvenile delinquent!” Or “I feel sorry for his parents!”
Suddenly I had to take a break. Ragged breaths emerged out of my mouth, when just then my pursuer was towering over me. He inflicted such a looming shadow that it could easily belong to a giant. At that moment I was overcome by two feelings. Nausea was now building up in my stomach and urging to come out. As well as that, hope was the other feeling. How could I let this beast boss me around like I was a piece of scum? I plucked up the courage and spoke:
”Wh…What do you want?”
“What do you think, you worthless boy?” The enemy replied in a gruff tone. I could now understand where all of his scars would have come from…Just then, my enemy fished into his ever-lasting pocket and produced a sleek and golden revolver, covered in pictures of skull and cross bones. My heart began to pound at the speed of light whilst my stomach churned as if it is a washing machine. However, it was no use, there was no hope of survival. Praying that death would envelope me in its grasp as quick as possible, I clenched my eyes shut and willingly waited until my doom would take place. 10 seconds… 15 seconds… 20 seconds but nothing had occurred that would bring me to heaven.
“What are you doing?” I enquired anxiously, but as well as that a volcano of hope was now spewing inside me.
“I wasn’t sent to murder you out of cold blood, I was just informed to take you captive and hold you hostage!” My still petrifying pursuer replied, a slightly confused tone in his voice.
“But still… Don’t you realise that you could be fined an immense amount of money and locked up in a desolate cell for kidnapping me?”
“No. All I know is that you are of particular danger to me and the public."
“You have no idea what you are talking about!” I stated, now not having a clue about what I was experiencing.
“Oh… maybe you haven’t begun to take notice of the symptoms that are happening around you.”
“I still have no idea what you are gabbling on about.”
“Are well you see…”  The mysterious person started.
“Let’s start with your name. I can’t really be expected to obey a mysterious man who tries to shoot me and then states that I own some extra-terrestrial powers.” I interrupted in a very rude way.
“The name is Atkins… Bobby Atkins.” Bobby said in a ‘James bond’ fashion.
“Alright. Now you can explain to me what you are exclaiming.”
