Soil Homework Tommy

1. Soil is made from air, rocks, humus (dead plants) and water.
2. The three types of soil are: clay, sand and silt. The difference between them are the rock particles, because sand has big particles, silt has medium and clay has small.
3. We need soil because it helps are plants grow, and we need plants to live.

Challenge:

Worms do this which is important for soil: They eat soil and poo it out with lots of nutrients. Their poo is called castings.
