Soil Homework Tommy
- Soil is made from air, rocks, humus (dead plants) and water.
- The three types of soil are: clay, sand and silt. The difference between them are the rock particles, because sand has big particles, silt has medium and clay has small.
- We need soil because it helps are plants grow, and we need plants to live.
Challenge:
Worms do this which is important for soil: They eat soil and poo it out with lots of nutrients. Their poo is called castings.
