Innocently I trailed through the damp deserted desert, the hot sun blistering my skin and sweat pouring down my forehead like I was a running dog. In the Sahara, it can sometimes get a bit too hot for my liking, especially in the boiling, burning Summer. It was over 40 Celsius and I needed water. Suddenly, I saw the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. A great, bold lake stood right in front of me-and who was going to get a drink...ME! I thundered towards the lake but it just stayed where it was, far away. It was a sham.
