I was off school today. For some reason, I wasn't feeling very well. Here is a recount of my happenings today...

Last night, my mum's friends came over for a small dinner. It was only her, and two other of her mummy friends from school. Manon (my sister)stayed up with me, whilst we stayed downstairs. She is normally supposed to go to bed at around 8:00, but today, she was up until 8:30, my usual time, but that wasn't my business. For a sort of starter, my mum had set up some Carr's crackers on a plate with some tapenard (olive spread)to put on top of the cracker. There were also some scrumptious olives in a bowl and some raisins and nuts. It was a tasty snack. I had 2 cracker-with-tapenard on top, 3 crackers(without tapenard)and 3 olives. After that, I felt quite weird. I had to clean my teeth
again but, fair enough, I had eaten a fair amount of food. When I went to bed, I found I couldn't sleep. When my dad came home from a dinner with his colleagues, it was past midnight, and I still hadn't slept a wink. I went out of my bed and told my dad that I couldn't sleep and all the hullabuloo about my feeling weird. I asked if I could sleep in his room on the floor, and he agreed. So I was in my dad's room, when I felt the brewing up in my stomach. I was hot, sweaty, and now I was immune to the fact that I was ill-I was going to vomit. I told my dad, and we both went into the bathroom next door. I put my head down, and brown, disgusting, smelly vomit came flushing out. I started to cry-it was a horrible feeling. I went to my own bed afterwards, and about 4 hours later, I went back to the bathroom, called my dad, and vomited only water out, as everything had been washed away the last time. The vomit had stopped-finally, but the morning was 2 hours away.

I was exhausted. My mum didn't even know I had been sick, but that didn't matter. I had to sort things out. In fact, I couldn't because I was too tired. Then I realised-no school.

It was not very nice being sick. Take my advice-
Don't eat as much as I did before bed, as you'll end up like me.
