'The Spook's Apprentice' is a really great series because of its captivating story line and mega plot. It consists of nine books about an ordinary boy who is suddenly nominated to be the spook's apprentice. The spook is a hooded figure who goes around roaming the streets to prevent Lauradale city from attack. Suddenly the apprentices life is changed. From a cosy house with a television he is forced to go and live with a mute guardian who does nothing but drink coffee. However, one day danger arises and the spook and his apprentice is made to do something about it. But they can't since it is the Spook's old enemy which is has never defeated...

I really enjoyed this series because in each of the books there is a twist which completely throws you off guard. I hope you read these books and like them as much as I did.
