Have you ever been asked to go somewhere where your mother and father want to go, and really not wanted to go, but instead, you loved it? If you haven't, then this is a really good example. One day, my mum said to me "Louis, we are going to go to the National Gallery. Come down now!" I really hated going there, it was just so boring! Pictures of dull donkeys and tramps, with great dogs holding bouquets of dancing pink flowers.
"Oh, mum, do we have to go! Please?" I pleaded to her. Seriously, I did hate it.
"Louis, you will love it. We are meeting the Ani's there. How does that sound?" my father tried to convince me that it really wasn't so bad going there, but truthfully (in my opinion) it was absolute hazang. But when I finally got there, Alex and his brothers looked fine (not as expected). But the best thing was, that our parents had booked something called 'the secret of the moon' a new exhibition only for kids. It turned out to be fantastic, full of games, drawing, describing paintings and even using and touching famous artists pallets! I was dumb struck by all the activities, and it turned out to be not-so-bad after all.
So the moral of this story is:
NEVER SUSPECT SOMETHING IS BAD BEFORE YOU TRY IT.
