The Dog
Shaggy, golden fur. Big, brown, pleading eyes. Tail thumping heavily on the ground. Endlessly running round in circles, was the dog. Paws pattering lightly on the springy grass, that was spongy from the morning dew, and tail wagging for all it was worth. Its honey-coloured coat seemed to glisten eagerly in the rising sun and his whole body glinted happily. His wet tongue was floppily hanging out of his mouth while he panted breathlessly but he never stopped to take a break. Fortunately this dog was almost bursting with energy so he carried on, round and round, heart pounding at the speed of lightning! Then suddenly... He stopped, hunger had overcome him!
