Meggie loves books, so does her father. But neither of them realise how dangerous they are until Meggie's mother disappears in to the covers of the book 'Inkheart'. However Meggie knows none of this until a fire breathing man turns up and says he is from the book Inkheart. Suddenly Meggie's life is not the same.
