Do you have a friend? I know I do. It is good to have about 3 friends or more, just in case you fall out (which happens a lot) or you lose contact. If you have never really thought about friendship, then now is your chance, because friends are one of the most important subjects in life. Friends bring you happiness, laughter, joy, play and activeness. They are positive to you and everyone around. Everybody, from all ages, shapes, sizes, countries, schools, they all have a friend, which makes no-one feel alone. But why is it so important to have a friend? They help you learn, discuss, discover and work as a successful team. They will open you up.

Friendship is a learning experience. You will learn how to handle dilemmas, solve tactical group problems and maybe (if you are lucky) fix other friendships with gaining ease. You will learn, most of all, what is best-respect, and how you can branch off to create new friendships. You will learn from each and every one of your friends: their personalities, abilities, friendliness and find out how to improve your friend profile and make new friends. There is a song about friendship and it goes like this:

Make new friends

Make new friends,
And keep the old,
One is silver,
And the other gold.

A circle's round,
It has no end,
That's how I feel,
About my friends.

It explains what you should do to become a quality, helpful, dependent friend.

My father has kept a friendship for about 35 years, as have many others. Some live in the same town. Some live in other continents, but they are still friends. One day you will keep your old friendships, and look back at the good old memories you have had together. It is fabulous to keep a friend for a lifetime. You should savour every friend, keep them with you forever and never try and fall out with them. Be a friend. Be a fantastic friend. Go further.
