Stalactites and stalacmites ruled the cave. The dragon stirred as great dollops of drool oozed out of its humongous mouth. I nudged myself forward until I was inches away from the lumbering beast. Not noticing the menacing eyes flicking open at its new victim. I gently attempted to drag my sword out of the mossy scabbard. Suddenly the dragon rose and its fiery breath enveloped me. I was flabbergasted. I continued though, and stabbed the dragon right beneath its tree- like knee caps. It squealed in protest. It thudded to the ground, twitching. This was my chance. I stabbed it ruthlessly just beneath the heart. It let out and ear- piercing shriek and I knew, instantaneously, it was dead!
