Can We Save Tigers?

Tigers are majestic,orange and black striped big cats- also known as panthera tigrus- which today are found on the endangered species list.

Tigers weigh up to more than 300 kg and stretch up to 3.5 metres-in fact there are the biggest cat in the world. The male tiger prefers to be alone whilst the female takes care of her young.. At times, they are nonchalant and languid, but if they get too close, they are fierce and ferocious. In the Space of a few decades, tigers have extremely declined,from 9 types of these momentual mammals numbered to 100,000 to less than 2,500.Tigers are found in asian countries such as:

Bangladesh,China,India,Nepal and Cambodia..

Although tigers are a much-loved animal,they are in touching distance of extinction.

Because they are majestic, they are poached illegally by hunters who are persuaded to kill tigers for rugs and coats and other unnecessary things. Tigers are facing something called deforestation. deforestation where tigers' trees are being cut down for palm oil products like: soap,shampoo and butter.

In the space of a few,time-passing, years, tigers will cease to exist, if we stand by like passive bystanders walking by as tigers decline(EXTiNCT means forever!)
