My Easter holiday
Firstly, I got invited to go to Devon with Raphael who arrived there before me with his mum and sister on Saturday. Then on Wednesday Raphael's dad drove to my house at roughly 5:30am to pick me up, and I was exhausted. The car journey took forever and during that boring journey I first looked out the window, then I tried to get to sleep but I couldn't. Halfway through, Raphael's dad stopped to get some hot chocolate and coffee for us and then our journey began again. Finally when I got there Raphael took me to have a little tour around the cottage. The cottage had a reasonable amount of space, it was quite a nice cottage. We decided to go to the arcade and climbed some rocks on the beach just next to the arcade, then we drove back to the cottage. When we got there we played a game of Pictionary and then finally watched the Chelsea, Benfica match which Chelsea sadly won.
The next day we went to the arcade to play some games. Whenever you do well in a game at the arcade you get tickets, and when you have a lot of tickets you can buy things like a lollipop or a mini toy. Raphael had already been saving up to get something. After the arcade we went to a total wipe out course where you have to get past these challenges whilst getting timed and it was the most fun thing I ever have done because there were these massive beach balls and they were so slippy that nobody could get on the second ball. After that amazing experience we went to the pub and had a great dinner and then went home.
In the morning we woke up and headed towards an adventure course where we did archery, zipwire and tunnelling which was really fun. After that, we went to the arcade again and Raphael had 2 mini lollipops and a big lollipop and he got me exactly the same. Then we went back to the house/cottage to have a nice dinner. After dinner me, Raphael and David (Raphael's dad) went to play some football but first went to the beach. The tide was in and I accidentally fell in the sea after slipping off the edge of a wall so we had to head back to the cottage for a change of clothes.
On the last day in Devon we packed up to go home. Raphael's family went to Cheltenham on the way to see his grandparents. My mum picked me up from Cheltenham to go and visit my grandparents in Stroud which is about 15 miles away.
I stayed in Stroud for 2 nights until Monday.
For the second week I went to an Arsenal soccer school and I got 2 medals, for fair play and best player, surprisingly, out of 14 people. It was probably my best Easter holiday ever.
