The Spider too big to be true

It was a Spider, as big as the snow is white. Its yellow fangs glistened in the pale moonlight and it stared at me with me menacing eyes. Carefully, I crept back to the clearing as stealthy as a jaguar. Then, out of harms way, I turned on my heels and ran. I ran like I had never ran before, darting among the endless trees. But the creature was not far behind. I shot a glance in front of me and with a sense of despair realised there was still around fifty metres to go. And without warning, I collapsed...
