There's a spider crawling up my bed
i swear it has some fifty legs,
Its white and big with lots of hair
And all is seems to stare
i pushed the covers to the floor
and then carefully towards my door.

I hope it now has gone away
underneath the small door crack
"Mum" i cried "please come here"
The spider fills me with a chill
I know I shouldn't be so afraid
But there I am, just where I lay.

Mum comes in and shakes her head
Tutting at my messy bed
Shakes my covers ,the spiders gone
And I am so happy once again.
