Hans Holbien

Hans Holbien was a painter from the Tudor times. He was born on the 7th of October in 1497 in Ausberg in Germany. Hans Holbein was walking in Hampton Court one day searching for Henry VIII. He was going to paint the King himself. Hans Holbein didn't know the palace, he was lost. Finally he came to a door that had a little rubbed of golden sign on the front of the door saying Henry VIII's Sto... He couldn't quite make out the rest of the words on the sign. "It must be the right place" he muttered to himself. He knocked on the old, wooden, dusty door. Know one answered. He thought for a second "What if there was someone in there just not wanting to open the door" he muttered to himself again. He made his mind up.Slowly and carefully Hans Holbein turned the small doorknob. It was an old little pitch room with on deserted shelf at the rear end of the room. There was an imence grassy green curtain sweeping across the whole room. In the corner of his eye he saw another two men leaning on the wooden shelf. The first man on the right asked Hans Holbein, seeing as he had some paint pallets in his hands, if he could do a painting of him and the other man. "We are the ambassadors" the man on the left said politely to Hans Holbien.
"Okay" replied Hans Holbien taking out his paint pallet. "What pose are you two going to stand in? muttered Hans Holbien. The two ambassadors got into a pose. They both had their elbows on the shelf looking straight into the eyes of Hans Holbien. The ambassador on the right was wearing a light brown silk coat.He had a short pitch black beard with a pointy black hat. Where as the ambassador on the left was wearing a massive, baggy and furry jumper type coat.He also had a beard, but this time it was brown and a little bigger.

Hans Holbein had started the painting adding every colour detail and object he could see.
There were lots of different objects including and wooden mandolin on the lower level on the shelf. There was also a world globe next to the mandolin. Later on Hans Holbein had finished his painting he carefully handed the painting to the ambassadors. "WOW!" exclaimed the ambassadors happily.
"Your welcome" replied Hans Holbien as he walked out of the room.
