Unwanted in Tudor times Chapter 2
"I demand you reveal to us." squealed the Ambassador of Spain, Javier Hawkins.
"What do you already know about!" Boomed Kind Henry VIII. Meanwhile, slamming a half- eaten, chicken drum stick down onto the linen table cloth. Leaving a big greasy mark stained on the cloud coloured fabric.
"I know that you are hiding something you cannot deny!" Javier replied in a slightly foreign accent.
"You think you know something, I cannot deny that, but there is nothing to know about, check my pockets!" Henry screamed. This time it was Catherine to step in. She announced that if he did he should keep it to himself. But Hawking steamed on.
"I shall bribe you..." he said, getting out his wallet. But Henry had heard enough. He rose from his chair, his legs trembling under his weight. The Ambassador also rose though. Henry lunged but insted his head slammed into the side of the wooden table and his body stayed there, in that place, stock still, not moving. Catherine locked her arms around his body. "No." she managed.
