... before pressing enter, he looked around anxiously, making sure no one could hear or see him. The ringing started. One. Two. Three. Someone picked up.

"Hello?" Spoke a gravelly voice. Super man looked around one last time.

" Bat man? I have a problem." He replied. The street was unusually quiet at this time of the day.

" What is it?" Batman asked, " Villains on the loose?"

" No... "Super man whispered into the speaker. Looking around one last time he said " Pickles is on the loose."

Super man could feel Batman frowning at the end of the line. They both knew what powers Pickles had.

" Where are you?"

Super man told him, and the phone call ended dramatically, due to Batman slamming down the phone.He idled for a minute, until Batman plunged from the sky and landed in front of him.He was holding a box of five switches. Superman studied them for a bit, when Bat man snapped the lid shut and dragged superman into the sky, pulling him towards a house, with a bare garden.

" I think I know where Pickles is..." Batman muttered to Superman.

There was a hole in the wooden fence,about the size of a two penny coin. Bat man looked through it, and Super man was shocked to see Batman being pulled through it! Confused, Super man looked through, to see what was there, only to find himself being sucked through.

It was pitch black, but Super man could faintly see the silhouette of Batman. When Super man came close, Batman flicked the fourth switch, causing them to glow. Superman felt energy running through his veins, and started to fly, excited by this new feeling, but Batman came and pulled him down.

" No time for messing about!" Ordered Batman.

" Can we see what the other switches do? Please!" Begged Super man.

Batman refused, flicking the last switch. They shot up, colours dancing around their faces. Batman frowned as Superman started panicking, shooting lasers everywhere. They started falling, landing on grass. They were in front of a small fairground, crowded with ducks.

" Can we stay here for a bit?" Asked Superman" PLeeeaaase!!"

Batman sighed and flicked the last switch again, causing them to tumble through a muddy hole. They ended up in a small place filled with ducks- comically squeezed into toy vehicles- and random stuff lying every where.. There were stepping along the wall, and Batman and Superman hopped up them, and at the top lay a cat, with two dazzling, ocean blue eyes.

"PICKLES!" cried super man " Where did you get all this?"

Of course Pickles didn't answer, she just winked. Batman and Superman found themselves outside The Bat cave. They only had one word to say.
