Microsociety - Currency

On Thursday 27th April, our teacher Mr Woods introduced Currency, which meant a system of money used in different countries. Different sorts of currency could be Dollars, Rupees, Euro and more. Also, we discussed if shells, gold, a cow, diamond, coins could be currency. The most fun activity of the day was

. A strategy in Monopoly is to buy as many properties as possible so when the opponents land on your property they will pay you then you will be rich with money coming in your hands every second. Also

don't be last in the

queue for a go or then the people in front will take most properties before you will. It wouldn't of made a difference even if you had more time because after a few rounds the same rounds would occur. During that lesson, our class decided what our currency should be. Instead of pounds and pence, we made oras and orions.

On Friday 28th April, our class decided that each child in the class should be distributed 200 Orions.

It was a fun day.
