Hey everyone, I'm soooooooo excited because, for our topic, we get the stone age! Because I'm soooooooo excited for our topic, I decided to do some research about them. Here's 10 facts about them that you might not have known before!

1) The stone age are more commonly known as 'Cave men!'

2) The dinosaur race had dried out before the stone age race was born!

3) To make their food, cloths, and possibly cave paintings, they herded their prey on the edge of a cliff, which meant their prey was trapped!

4) They were the first humans to ever walk earth!

5) They spoke in grunts and gibberish. Does anyone know how they understood each other?

6) They lived in caves under rocks but some also lived in the jungle, how unusual is that?

7) There was 2 main priorities of living in the stone age- protecting themselves from wild animals and gathering food!

8) During the stone age times, fire, beer, weapons and ink, the oldest stone artefact tool is almost 3.4 million years old!

9) As you know, stones were used to make fire, and since in those times humans used stone for almost everything they did, we call it The Stone Age.

10) The stone age finished in between 6000 BC to 2500 BC; around this time stone tools got replaced by tools made of copper such as coins!

So I found that really interested because before we had the stone age as a topic, I knew a little bit but now I defiantly know a lot more. Can you answer my question, does anyone know how they understood each other? If you know or find out, please post back! It would really interest me on your thoughts!
