Interview with my Grandma
- Have you been on a pilgrimage?
“Yes, I have been on many pilgrimages. Pilgrimage is in all religions, Judaism. Muslim and Christian, as pilgrims we are all we are all on a journey in life , a journey to a sacred place.”
2. How did it feel?
“It was a very special day to gather with so many people together with a shared intention with the theme, ‘ love is to be lived’”
3. Where did you go?
“I belong to a charity helping very poor children and families in Romania and over a hundred of us travelled to a sacred shrine in the Carpathian mountains in Romania.”
4. Why?
“To be able to share the love and care we have with each other on a spiritual journey.”
5. How did you prepare?
“Everyone carried flags and sang religious songs together enjoying a meal in the hot sunshine and getting to know each other in FARA Charity.”
6. How did you feel afterwards?
“We all felt that we would be stronger to help each other in future with God’s help inspired by a shared goal that together we can transform lives of those who although poor are valued and loved.
