On the 18th of May, Onyx went to Wagamama in the Angel Islington to do some practises.
We were all split up in 3 groups of 7, the first practice was that we had to prepare some noodles and weigh them. Here is a list of what we weighed:
100g of noodles
10g of red peppers
20g of sweet corn
10g of Mangetout
The 2nd practice was we tasted some herbs and some Thai and Japanese food. We had tasted some really nice food such as pickled bamboo ,which was sour, the best was this sauce I don't know what its called but it was really sweet.
The final practice that we did was we made a juice that we made. We made it through this juicer machine all we had to do was put a carrot or an apple through the machine ( Making sure its on) and then push the top part down then wait. Then it'll drip out and there you go. Pour into a glass and drink.
Once we were ready, the kitchen staff gave us some noodles, which was absolutely incredible.
Some of us used normal chopsticks however other people used the kid chopsticks that they provided us with. Below are a few pictures of us at Wagamma.
