On Tuesday, the children enjoyed icing and decorating Christmas biscuits. They have been trying really hard with table activities, and are doing very well with writing numbers. During the week, they have also enjoyed making their own pictures, and trying to write short words.

The children had an amazing Christmas party day on Wednesday! They wore their party hats, did a model "catwalk" to show off their outfits, and loved seeing Santa in his visit to our classroom. He gave each child a gift.

In the afternoon, the children had lots of fun eating party snacks, playing pass the parcel, looking for hidden candy canes outside, and dancing.

The children made a lovely thank you card for our caretaker Mr Radford, who is retiring. He loved his card, and also gave each child a goodie bag with sweets and chocolates.

The children were also very excited to come into the classroom "cinema" on Friday: they paid with pretend tickets and coins, and ate their snacks whilst watching the film!
