Foundation 2

8.9.22

So, this is our very first challenge of F2, welcome! The children are settling in beautifully and we have had a fun filled first week. The children have been extremely busy, painting self portraits and have been meeting all their new teachers, discussing and agreeing to rules to make our classroom a wonderful place to be. They have begun to make new friendships and loved playing with all the equipment. We look forward to Foundation 2 enjoying a full, fun packed time next week too!

Thank you to all of you who sent their children in with projects relating to their child's adventures during the holidays. It was lovely to see and hear all about their experiences during the holidays.

Next week we will be learning all about ourselves, in our world. We will be also counting forward and backwards to 10 and will be learning to count objects to 10 with one to one correspondence We will also be continuing to recognise and write our names.

We have 2 Challenges this week end!

Challenge 1

Could you help your child complete their sheet that will be sent home on Friday. If your child struggles to write and draw, please talk through the questions and write their answers in the relevant boxes.

Challenge 2

Count objects by moving them one by one. this could be the spoons on the table, their cars, toy dinosaurs, pencils, lego or even the food on their plate!
