SHAKESPEARE WORKSHOP

On Thursday both year 6 classes had a workshop that was organised by an amazing women called Liz,she came from the Shakespeare Company we did a play called MACBETH from 1606 which was set in Scotland.

"Sadly we don't have any piece of equipment so we have to use our creative imaginative which is double easy!"quoted Liz.Us children had to answer questions first before we act out firstly we had to create a spooky picture using our minds.Question:What kind of mysterious creatures are in the heath(somewhere in Scotland?)What was the heath described like?Secondly we picked the characters for our act now for the play.

When we finished Break we carried on by doing a potion with gruesome ingredient(eye of a newt ; wolf claw ; tongue of a dead dog)We started thinking one thing how did lady Macbeth die?

Summary

What i enjoyed that we spent time with Liz she was funny she had a mind blowing voice with different tones.I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME IN DIFFERENT SCHOOLS!!I liked the last bit because of the slow motion war but i wonder how lady Macbeth died?The witches prediction of Macbeth being the next king was right.How foolish was lady Macbeth forcing her husband to kill kind King Duncan just because the witches said to Macbeth he will be the next king and that she wanted to be queen.What an ambitious lady!
