One cold winter's evening my husband returned from a walk beside the sea. He handed me the loveliest ring in the world. Confused, I asked where he got it from yet he did not reply. With the question still hanging we slipped off to bed ,the ring on my finger made me feel rich at last. I woke up at midnight and the door creaked open, a chill voice cried out. "Give me my ring." I asked William what it said but he simply replied "Don't worry my dear ,it will soon go away." The voice shrieked again "I am on your bed, give me my ring or I will pull you out of bed by the hair." I pulled the cover right over my head and asked William what it had said. "THROW THE RING OUT THE WINDOW , THROW IT AWAY!!"
