I was standing on the deck of the Titanic, admiring the moonlit ocean and the stars. I felt a sense of wonder and excitement, as I was on my way to a new life in America. I had left behind my family and friends in England, hoping to find better opportunities and happiness across the Atlantic.

I heard a loud thud and felt a slight jolt. I wondered what it was, but I didn't think much of it. Maybe we hit a wave, or a piece of ice. I shrugged it off and continued to enjoy the night. I saw some people running towards the bow, but I ignored them. They were probably just curious or bored.

I decided to go back to my cabin and get some rest. I had a long day ahead of me, and I wanted to be ready for it. I walked down the corridor, passing by other passengers and crew members. Some of them looked worried or scared, but I didn't pay attention to them. They were probably just nervous or superstitious.

I reached my cabin and opened the door. I saw water seeping in from under the door. I felt a surge of panic and confusion. What was going on? Was the ship sinking? How could that be? The Titanic was unsinkable, they said. It was the most advanced and luxurious ship ever built, they said.

I grabbed my coat and my bag and ran out of the cabin. I saw more water flooding the hallway, and more people screaming and running. I followed them, trying to find a way out. I heard someone say that we hit an iceberg, and that we had to get to the lifeboats. I couldn't believe it. How could this happen? How could this happen to me?
