My Summer Postcard - Example

Barmouth Beach

Dear class 1,

I have had the best summer ever!

We spent a week in Barmouth, Wales.

I spent my days playing with my Mom

and sister - we swam, went crabbing,

ate ice creams and enjoyed the

sunshine!

When we got home we had a few

day trips. We went to the museum, the

Art Gallery, the Zoo and saw my

Grandad.

Towards the end of the summer we

started to get ready to go back to

school. Mom took me to go buy a new

bag and pens for me to use in class.
