Dear diary,

Where should I start? You wouldn't believe what happened anyway! At the start, there was reports from passing ships saying that the light was not on. Nothing was done and no-one seemed worried as I was supposed to set out the next day. It is not normal for a lighthouse keeper to let the light go out, even the lighthouse board seemed chilled, you'd of thought they diddn't know anything. I was supposed to set out but I could't down to trash, idiotic weather, thats rubbish, that is!

When I tried to explain this to the head of the LH board he just looked at me in desperation and reminded me about the rule which says one person must be in the lighthouse at all times, so I explained to him that one person could work the light, and avised him to send someone over ASAP. He flatly refused and told me he had 'no confidence' in me. He should lend me his brain so I can build an idiot.

On the boat was totaly AWKWARD. I looked at him in desperation, but he still doddnt seem to understand. I may have appeared just scared but inside I was furious. Why diddn't they just send in someone ASAP, I knew something was wrong. No-one was supporting me, no-one else seems to have a brain.

As soon as I got of the boat, I ran franticalaly up the stairs which were mede to trip people up. I shouted there name but the only thing that replied was the wind. What had happened to them? I sprinted into the light house, and there was only one set of overalls. In the kitchen, there was an overturned chair and i half eaten lunch, and that's when I knew something was wrong, very wrong.
