There were some very difficult times during the build but our 'new' school
is all we hoped it would be and much more. Our 'new' school is stunning.
The whole process was made so much easier to manage due to the
incredibly hard work of the whole staff team who had to move classrooms
several times, find lost resources and work longer hours. While all this was going on teaching and learning and the development and progress of all our pupils remained a priority.
The children too were brilliant throughout the whole project. They took it
all in their stride and continued to enjoy their learning and do their very best in all areas of school life. They were also very responsible and sensible.
Support from all our parents who found access to the school in all ways different sometimes from week to week was greatly appreciated. Without that ongoing support and understanding we would have struggled.

Cheswick Green Primary School
has always been a very special place because of the people
who work there and the fantastic children who have learned so many new and exciting things within its walls since it was first opened in 1974.
I was so excited for the whole school community when we heard
that our school was going to be modernised and extended because everyone deserved it so much, especially the children..
We all knew that we were going to have a difficult year as the building took place around us, but we also knew it would be worth it in the end. We were right!
